How It Works

Garden uses an intent-based architecture with atomic swaps powered by Hashed Time-Locked Contracts (HTLCs). Users sign an intent, an independent solver matches it, both sides lock assets, and the swap completes when a cryptographic secret is revealed. No custody risk at any point.

The integration is powered by Breez SDK, which abstracts the complexity of interacting with both Spark and Lightning into a single integration point. Garden handles cross-chain execution, Breez makes Spark easy to talk to, and the result is any asset on any chain bridged to Spark atomically.
